ABOUT JELLY MARIO
Jelly Mario is a physics-based platformer that transforms classic Mario-style gameplay into a wobbly adventure filled with unpredictable movements. Created by developer Stefan Schteppel, the game features a flexible version of Mario whose body stretches, bounces, and twists as he moves through familiar platforming environments. Unlike traditional platform games, every jump and collision is influenced by momentum and jelly-like physics, making even simple obstacles surprisingly challenging. Enemies, blocks, and platforms also react to physical forces, creating unexpected interactions throughout each level. Your objective is to navigate dangerous paths, avoid enemies, collect coins, and reach the flagpole to advance through different stages. As you progress, increasingly difficult layouts, new hazards, and castle challenges test your ability to control the character's unusual movements. Master the bouncing physics, overcome tricky obstacles, and guide your wobbly character safely to the finish!

Jelly Mario - A physics-based platformer with jelly-like movement
GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW
Control Wobbly Movements and Master Jelly Physics
Jelly Mario replaces traditional platforming controls with unusual physics that make every movement feel flexible and unpredictable. Mario stretches, compresses, and bounces while moving, requiring you to manage momentum rather than rely on instant directional changes. Jumping also depends on timing and speed, while collisions with blocks and platforms can send the character bouncing in unexpected directions. Learning how these movements work helps you navigate obstacles and maintain control through difficult sections.
Navigate Levels and Overcome Moving Obstacles
The game features levels inspired by classic Super Mario Bros., with familiar environments, enemies, and platforming challenges. Goombas, Koopa Troopas, and other enemies react to the same jelly-like physics, making their movements harder to predict. You must jump across gaps, avoid dangerous obstacles, collect coins, and reach the flagpole at the end of each stage. Checkpoints allow you to restart from certain positions, while later worlds introduce more demanding platform layouts and castle challenges.
Use Momentum, Bounces, and Spins to Progress
Momentum plays an important role because the character continues sliding even after you release a directional key. Carefully timed jumps and collisions can help you bounce off objects or enemies to reach difficult areas. Rapidly alternating movement directions can also create spinning movements that affect your trajectory in the air. Experimenting with these physics interactions helps you handle challenging jumps and discover different ways to move through each level.
