They Are Coming is a zombie defense shooter that combines strategic planning, shooting, and base building in a battle against endless undead waves. Your mission is to protect an orphanage from zombies that become more dangerous with each passing day. Before each attack, you can purchase weapons, barricades, traps, and useful tools to strengthen your defensive position. Firearms help eliminate enemies from a distance, while barricades and traps slow their advance toward the shelter. The game features two distinct modes, allowing you to choose between intense survival battles and a more relaxed playground experience. As zombie waves grow stronger, careful preparation and quick reactions become essential to prevent enemies from breaking through your defenses. GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW
Defend the Orphanage Against Zombie Waves
They Are Coming challenges you to protect an orphanage from continuous waves of approaching zombies. Enemies become increasingly dangerous as the days progress, putting more pressure on your defensive position. You must move around the side-scrolling battlefield, aim at incoming zombies, and eliminate them before they reach the shelter. If the undead break through your defenses and overwhelm your position, the run ends.
Build Defenses and Prepare for Tougher Attacks
Before each zombie wave, you can purchase weapons, barricades, traps, and other useful tools to improve your chances of survival. Firearms allow you to attack enemies from a distance, while barricades help slow zombies moving toward the orphanage. Traps provide additional protection and become especially useful when large groups approach at once. Combining these defensive options with careful planning helps you handle increasingly difficult attacks.
Choose Between Defense and Playground Modes
The game offers two different modes with distinct experiences. New Defense focuses on protecting the orphanage through combat, defensive structures, and strategic preparation. Playground Mode provides a separate area for a more relaxed experience away from the main zombie battles. These options let you switch between challenging survival encounters and less intense gameplay.
