Farflung - A geography trivia and world map guessing game
GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW
Explore the World Map and Solve Geography Clues
Farflung challenges you to identify countries that match a series of geography-based prompts. Each round presents a clue related to topics such as national borders, capitals, languages, or other geographical facts. You must explore the world map, select a suitable country, and place your pin to submit your answer. Multiple countries may satisfy the same clue, allowing you to consider different possibilities before making a selection.
Earn Distance With Clever Country Choices
The scoring system rewards players for finding less obvious answers to geography questions. Choosing a valid country that other players might overlook can earn more distance toward your expedition total. Your objective is to accumulate enough distance to approach a perfect 500-kilometre journey. After each round, you can discover the answers and learn more about the countries connected to the clues. This encourages you to expand your geographical knowledge while improving your strategy for future expeditions.
Play Daily Challenges or Unlimited Expeditions
The game offers five Daily prompts shared by all players, with a fresh expedition available every day at midnight UTC. Unlimited mode lets you begin additional games whenever you want, providing more opportunities to practice your geography skills. Classic mode introduces a 60-second timer, challenging you to make decisions quickly while examining the map. Wander mode removes the time limit, allowing you to explore possible answers at your own pace. Both options offer different ways to enjoy the same geography-based challenges.
