GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW
Cut Ropes and Guide Candy to Om Nom
In Cut the Rope, your goal is to deliver a piece of candy into Om Nom's mouth by cutting the ropes that suspend it. Each cut changes the candy's movement, so you must consider gravity, swinging momentum, and the order of your actions. Collect up to three stars along the candy's path before completing the puzzle to achieve the highest rating. Some challenges require carefully timed cuts to send the candy in the correct direction, while others involve using bubbles or air cushions to reach difficult positions.
Explore Three Seasons of Puzzle Boxes
The game features three seasons filled with themed boxes, each introducing different puzzle layouts and interactive elements. Every box contains 25 puzzles with up to 75 stars available to collect, rewarding players who find efficient ways to guide the candy.
The seasons include:
Season 1: Cardboard, Fabric, Foil, Magic, and Valentine's Boxes.
Season 2: Toy, Gift, Cosmic, Tool, and Buzz Boxes.
Season 3: DJ, Spooky, Steam, Lantern, Cheese, Pillow, and Mechanical Boxes.
You can begin exploring different seasons without necessarily completing every box in order. This flexibility lets you switch to another set of puzzles whenever a particular challenge becomes difficult.
Collect Stars and Master New Puzzle Mechanics
Stars play an important role in progression, as collecting enough of them allows you to access further challenges. Although delivering candy to Om Nom completes the main objective, securing all three stars demands more careful planning and precise timing.
As you advance, new interactive objects introduce additional ways to manipulate the candy's movement. Bubbles can influence its path, while air cushions add another layer of control to increasingly complex puzzles. Experiment with different cutting sequences, observe how each object affects the candy, and refine your strategy to earn the best rating.
