Tape to Tape is a fast-paced 1v1 hockey arcade game where you compete in intense ice hockey duels that test your reflexes, shooting accuracy, and puck control. You can challenge an opponent in single-player mode or compete against a friend on the same device in local two-player matches. Each round revolves around skating across the rink, gaining possession of the puck, and finding opportunities to score before the timer expires. Beyond shooting, you can attack opponents and knock them down during close encounters to gain an advantage. Holding the attack button charges a stronger shot, adding another tactical option when approaching the goal. With quick matches, physical collisions, and tense final seconds, every duel requires careful timing and responsive movement. Take control of the ice, outplay your opponent, and score the winning goal before time runs out!

GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW
Control the Puck and Score Goals in 1v1 Matches
Tape to Tape challenges you to outscore your opponent in short hockey matches where possession and positioning determine your opportunities. Skate toward the puck to pick it up, then maneuver around the opposing player to create a clear path toward the goal. Quick changes in direction help you maintain control while looking for an opening to shoot. Each round has a timer, and the player with the most goals when time expires wins the match. Staying alert during the final seconds is especially important when the score is close.
Charge Powerful Shots and Knock Down Opponents
Shooting involves more than pressing the attack button because holding it allows you to charge a more powerful strike. You can use this mechanic to prepare stronger attempts when approaching the opponent's goal. The same attack control also lets you challenge nearby opponents physically, potentially knocking them down during close encounters. These collisions create opportunities to disrupt possession and change the direction of play. Balancing puck control, shooting strength, and well-timed attacks is essential for gaining an advantage on the ice.
Challenge an Opponent Solo or Play With a Friend
The game offers single-player and local two-player modes, allowing you to choose between facing an opponent alone or competing with a friend on the same device. In single-player mode, your hockey player starts on the left side of the rink while the opposing player occupies the right. Two-player mode gives each participant control of their own character, creating direct competition for puck possession and goals. Both modes focus on quick reactions, accurate shots, and controlling the space between your player and the opponent.
